Hello, I'm Jon! I'm an English teacher and project manager with a passion for travel, learning, and connecting with people around the world. Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing guitar, working out, and reading.
One of my personal goals is to visit a new country every year, and I’m always excited to learn about different cultures, especially from students. I’m currently learning Portuguese, so if you’re a Portuguese speaker (bem-vindo!), I’d love to exchange a bit of language and culture with you!

I’m a relaxed, fun, and patient tutor who focuses on your goals. Together, we’ll create lessons specific to your needs, interests, and learning style.
As a project manager, I bring organization, structure, and clear planning to every lesson, helping you progress efficiently.
I also served 5 years in the U.S. Navy as a submarine sailor, traveling the world, meeting diverse cultures, and learning how to communicate effectively. I use these experiences to create a supportive, encouraging, and culturally aware classroom. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
In my lessons, I help to improve your speaking, listening, grammar, and pronunciation through clear guidance and natural conversation. Our first meeting will focus on your short and long-term goals so I can build a personalized plan just for you.
Lessons can be as structured or relaxed as you prefer. We can use materials, follow a plan, or have open conversation while focusing on targeted corrections. We’ll experiment together to find the style that works best for you.
I work comfortably with all levels, from beginner to advanced, and I always aim to create fun, engaging lessons that keep you improving with confidence.5.0
