Hello!
I am a university student living in South Africa. My greatest passions at the moment, are people, art, fashion, and literature. In my free time, I enjoy painting, reading, or drinking tea with my friends and family.عني كمعلّم
As a teacher, I am patient and kind. I want my students to feel comfortable engaging with me. I always encourage my students to at least try. I always do my best to help my students in any way I can. I adapt my teaching and communication style based on what my students need. I am passionate about helping my students reach their goals.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
In my lessons, I will first assess my students' needs and find out what their language learning goals are. My main form of teaching would be through short structured exercises to improve their spelling, grammar or vocabulary. If my students want more informal lessons, we will have conversations so that they become more confident when speaking and also to help their listening skills and pronunciation. I've been taking lessons with Amone' for a few weeks, and she's been awesome! She's super knowledgeable about afrikaans grammar, and her lesson plans that she makes are useful and thoughtful. She is super patient and flexible as well when I diverge from the lesson plan a little bit, and can provide some insights to the culture and history around the language. I learn and a have a lot of fun during our lessons :)

Amoné is one of my favourite teachers on Italki. I have been taking Afrikaans lessons with her for some months now and I am very happen with the progress I have made. Amoné is knowledgable, methodical and really helped me entering into the logic of the language. I am looking forward to continuing studying with her.

It's been a year since I last had a class with Amoné. Lives changed, and time is no longer the same.
I can say that She has been one of the best teachers I've ever had. I've learned four languages in my life.
