Especializado en conversación, ayudo a hablar con confianza, de nivel inicial a avanzado. Viví un año en Japón y me interesan las culturas, la tecnología y la actualidad. Enseño desde Puebla, México, con métodos flexibles y mucha pasión.
Hi! I’m Azael, a Spanish teacher with 12 years’ experience and 21,000+ lessons; host of Stairway to Spanish. I specialize in conversation and help you speak confidently, from beginner to advanced. I lived one year in Japan and enjoy cultures, tech and current issues. I teach from Puebla, Mexico, with flexible methods and enthusiasm.
Paciente, claro y adaptable. Creo que todos aprendemos a ritmos y de maneras distintas. Explico la gramática en lenguaje sencillo y la conecto con situaciones reales. Diseño clases según tus metas. Como aprendiz de idiomas, conozco los obstáculos y puedo ayudarte. Prioridad: comunicación real por encima de memorizar reglas.
Patient, clear, and adaptable. I believe we all learn at different paces and in different ways. I explain grammar in plain language and connect it to real situations. I design lessons around your goals and learning style. As a language learner myself, I know the roadblocks and how to overcome them. Priority: real communication over memorizing rules.

I'm impressed by how Azael can go with the flow as I forgot to send him what I wanted to work on beforehand! I read in prior reviews that he is good at explaining and clarifying concepts that you may struggle with. I brought up two grammar topics that I get confused in when speaking and trying to understand Spanish. I really feel that he was able to go with the flow and I FINALLY understand them in a more solid way. Thank you!!

It has been wonderful (and very needed) to study under Azael guidance. He is clearly experienced and organized! I have learned many new things. He utilizes handouts, assigns homework for challenging topics, provides vocabulary to study, and facilitates learning with the use of AI! And he is a kind and caring person! I am very grateful that he is my teacher.

Amazing!! My favorite thing about learning Spanish with Azael is that I feel like I am his only student - even though he has a full schedule!! I started knowing nothing about Spanish. Now I have a basic vocabulary, can conjugate basic verbs, count numbers, and also got over my fear of speaking a language I am not fluent in. Thank you very much.
