Hi there, my name is Oisín - I am born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. I work as an actor and have done some film work in Irish. I began learning Irish at age 5 and became fluent in secondary school after spending time in Irish speaking areas of Ireland (An Ghaeltacht) . Irish is now part of my everyday life and I love sharing my passion and enthusiasm for the language with whoever is interested.عني كمعلّم

My lessons are primarily speaking based - this varies depending on the students level and previous knowledge of Irish (if any). If the student is a competent speaker and just wants speaking practice I speak for the lesson with the student and take notes on areas they need to focus on - error correction may happen during the lesson but mostly in summary format at the end of a lesson. I send personalized feedback to the student during the lesson or afterwards. Very informal and fun teaching style. Where students want more grammar/vocabulary focus or where the student is beginning the language, if they prefer a more academic approach I am happy to adapt to this.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

Great conversation practice with Oisín as always! Our schedules were not working for me to have a class with him for several months, so I am SO glad that he is back on italki on Sundays!
