Scott Sell – Certified TEFL/TESOL instructor with over a decade of experience and an MBA in Leadership. I specialize in delivering tailored American English instruction across all proficiency levels (A1-C2), with expertise in Business English, advanced conversational skills for professional and social contexts, and TOEIC test preparation. My professional background enables me to effectively serve diverse learners across multiple industries. I value good service, continuing education, and purposeful learning experiences. In a TOEIC class, a student questioned the usefulness of a lesson I taught. She was asking when and how she would use the material. I learned from her that lessons must be useful.
Teaching in a vocational institute, an international language institute, a community college, and in many private one-on-one settings, I have worked with learners and professionals from diverse cultures and in diverse industries.

My learning experiences guide my teaching style. As I learned Spanish as a Foreign Language, verb conjugations, accents, and regional language differences challenged me! As a business manager, I once drove from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and back to pick up and deliver material so a client could finish an important project on time. I understand and strive to serve and satisfy my clients.

Scott is the best English teacher I’ve ever met.
I can tell that he is a very dedicated teacher and he uses personalized materials in every lesson. He helped me realized which specific pronunciation and grammar issues I need to focus on. As a person, he’s very calm and gives off a comfortable, encouraging energy. Each class goes by so quickly.
