🌸I've been teaching Japanese since 2016 for more than 250 students 🌸I was born and raised in Hiroshima. 🌸I lived in Tokyo, Moscow, Brisbane, LA. 🌸I have a lot of hobbies like, reading books, watching anime and dramas, traveling inside of Japan and abroad, running, taking pictures, visiting museums. 🌸My adorable dog is white shiba-inu❤ 🌸2016年から日本語を教えています。 🌸広島出身です。 🌸東京、モスクワ、ブリスベン、ロサンゼルスに住んだことがあります。 🌸趣味がたくさんあります。本を読むこと、アニメやドラマを見ること、国内海外旅行をすること、ランニング、美術館を訪れることです。 🌸白いしば犬をかっています。 色々な国の人とレッスンできるのを楽しみにしています😍！ I'm so excited to have lessons with students from various countries!

Kotona-sensei is great with personalizing lessons! I brought up an upcoming trip to Japan, and she took what we were learning at the time and worked that into a role play scenario of checking in at a hotel. She will find a way to incorporate interests that you've brought up into lessons. Can't recommend highly enough!

This was my first lesson with Kotona-sensei. As an upper intermediate level learned of Japanese, it can be hard to find a teacher that understands how to challenge me. I felt the lesson was well organized and she understood my needs. Looking forward to the next one!

Another great lesson with Kotona-sensei! She has been teaching me for about 6 months. I hadn’t taken a lesson in 2 months, so I was nervous to come back. But it went fine! I actually asked her to help me with understanding/translation of song lyrics. It made me really happy that she was accommodating with tailoring the lesson to my interests! After that, we did some listening and grammar practice as usual. I always walk away from her lessons with more confidence and feeling like more of my goals are accomplished, which is why I keep signing up for lessons with her! いつもありがとうございます！

Today my in-depth grammar lesson was very helpful. Kotona-sensei has great explanations and is patient in helping me understand. I once again strongly recommend Kotona-sensei for grammar and intermediate learners!
