Hello everyone!
My name is Virginie, a native French teacher certified by the Alliance Française. Originally from Nice, France, I've been teaching with passion for the past 5 years, combining my 20 years' experience in theater with dynamic teaching methods. I love literature, arts in general but also hiking. An insatiable traveler (Europe, Africa, Asia, USA), I incorporate cultural anecdotes into my lessons to bring them to life. Curious about each student, I adapt my lessons to your interests.

Le plus important est que vous ayez l'envie d'apprendre car l'on ne fait rien sous la contrainte. Il faut aussi que vos objectifs soient clairs et réalisables dès le départ. Rassurez-vous, je suis là pour vous y aider. Une fois les objectifs fixés, nous définirons ensemble le cours le mieux adapté pour vous.
To me, the most important thing is your desire and your motivation to learn because nothing can be achieved under pressure. Vous faire parler le plus possible car c'est en se trompant que l'on apprend. J'utiliserai le maximum de supports sur des sujets qui vous intéressent, pour vous mettre à l'aise et vous permettre de vous exprimer. Selon votre niveau et votre objectif, on pourra aussi travailler ensemble la production écrite.
My method: make you speak as much as you can ! It is by making mistakes that you will learn. I will use different materials on topics that you are interested in, to make you feel comfortable and express yourself. - Sharpen French lessons to adapt at a business level by creating professional situations to provide students useful vocabulary in their current jobs or their leisure learning projects.

- Enhanced student experience by assigning targeted homework, conducting regular assessments, and tracking student progress to adjust instructional strategies and improve learning outcomes.
- Collaborated with the French and English teachers to ensure the students learning methods.
2019 - 2020
Drama teacher- Settled up and ran theatrical workshops for young audience aged 7 to 12, of various nationalities, mainly Laotian.
- Used of non-verbal and verbal imaginary games to build a fun and positive relationship between the children.
- Worked and presented a show based on the fairy tale "Pinocchio."

I was very nervous going in, but Virginie very quickly put me at ease, was very good about gauging my current level of french by getting me to speak and introduce myself, and then worked together on a plan to get me to the level I want to be. Couldn't ask for anything better!

Virginie is very engaging. She is patient and well prepared. Her explanations are clear and the exercises she uses are helpful. I especially like that she uses multiple types of media, from interviews to articles to workbooks. She makes the classes interesting.
