Hi! I'm Haley, a TEFL certified English teacher from Maine, USA.
I view language learning as a wonderful tool that helps people to connect with others. I specialize in helping learners refine their accents, boost fluency, and gain confidence. My background in the studies of Anthropology, French and International Affairs helps me effectively work with students to bridge cultures through language.عني كمعلّم
I have plenty of experience teaching and tutoring English, as I have been tutoring French students in English since my time living in France in 2020. I also worked in Spain for 2 years for the Comunidad de Madrid Ministry of Education, where I helped high school students improve their English.
Through my 120 hour TEFL certification course, I learned the best and most effective techniques to teach English as a foreign language.
As a result of my experience in learning languages, I understand how difficult it can be to learn a new language. I would love to play a supportive role in helping you reach your language goals by providing a positive, judgement free learning environment.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My lessons are tailored to fit each student’s needs, whether they are just starting to learn English, or they have already achieved near fluency. Our first lesson will be used to get to know each other a bit, and for me to determine your level and learn about your language goals. From there, we will determine what kind of lessons will be the most helpful for you. I recognize that everyone learns differently, and so I want our lessons to be as collaborative as possible so you can learn in a way that works for you. Depending on the students needs, sometimes lessons will have more structure, while sometimes we can just have a conversation to practice fluency and confidence in speaking English.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

Auxiliar de ConversaciónAs an auxiliar de conversación, I spend my weekdays working with Spanish high school students to help them improve their English. In class, I present English grammar and vocabulary to students through fun games and activities and talk to students in English to help them gain confidence and competence in speaking and understanding English as spoken by a native speaker.
