Yuko is so lovely! She’s patient, kind, and explains everything well. She paces her lessons very well. I’ve found that getting the pacing right is difficult and she does a perfect job at it. The only thing I don’t like about her is that she’s always booked up! She’s definitely one of the best on italki.

I have taken quite a few classes with Yuko now, and plan on continuing to do so! Each lesson builds upon the last and it is very rewarding to feel my skills and confidence growing every week. It's often necessary to request a lesson a few weeks in advance since her schedule fills up quickly, but it's no surprise why; her classes are always fun and her teaching style strikes a very effective balance of instruction and listening/speaking practice. I look forward to continuing to learn with her!

Yuko-sensei is a professional and her teaching style was very comfortable for me:) She was maintaining conversation elegantly and naturally, asking many open questions which allowed me to speak more than listen (which was my goal). She never interrupted me, instead she kindly corrected some of my sentences/grammar in chat :) She also gave me hints when I couldn't find right words. We only had 30 minutes but I can tell she is a great teacher:)

It was another great lesson! We learned more about grammar and kanji, she would always help me if I was stuck on something I couldn't understand. I reccomend her!

Yuko Sensai is a fantastic teacher and gives of her time so professionally!

Had my first trial lesson with Yuko-san. It was a great lesson. The teaching format was structured very well which was very helpful and easy to go through. She even provides PDF copies of the lesson which is useful. Definitely recommend. Looking forward to learning more!
