Hello, my name is Guilherme and I am an English Teacher from Brazil, originally from São Paulo.
I'm a person who is very into pop culture and the entertainment industry. I also love reading, web designing, being with my family, and talking to my best friends.
I am from the cancer sign, so I am very much a “buddy”! I am humble, intuitive, and very dedicated. Since I was a kid, I study english. I - unfortunately - graduated in a very tradicional English school (I say that because I don’t like those types of school and "tradicional" ways of teaching… So let’s move on from that, right?)عني كمعلّم
I love creating different methods and platforms to teach, as I believe that is the best way to do so, but also to make an impact. Well, knowing that, you'll understand that I won't be your average teacher. We will chat and have fun while learning, no matter your level. If you expect a tradicional teacher whose only thing he's gonna talk about is about the verb “to be", then I can tell you that this is not true. I don’t like those kind of methods, I don't believe teaching-learning has to be boring.

I am a comprehensive teacher and I believe that’s also reflective in my classes. Patience, creativity, fun and dedication are the keys to learning a new language, and my teaching style reflects that, with personalized classes, each student needs and even personal preferences, like their favorite hobbies and more!

Hi Guilherme, sorry I missed our lesson on Friday. it was entirely my fault. I couldn’t sleep the night before, ended up catching up on rest the next day, and completely forgot about the lesson. Don’t worry, though, I’ll book another session for this coming week because I really enjoy the way you teach. See you next Friday!

I just had my first lesson with Guilherme, and it was an awesome experience! From the start, he made me feel comfortable and encouraged. We focused on learning how to pronounce the days of the week and the months in Portuguese. What I really appreciated was his approach—he asked questions in English, and I had to respond with the correct day or month in Portuguese. It was interactive, practical, and a great way to reinforce learning.
It was a solid and encouraging start, and I’m excited to continue improving my Portuguese with his help. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a patient, engaging, and effective tutor!

I really enjoyed the lesson. My professor clearly explained the verb "to be" in Portuguese and how Brazilians commonly use it in everyday speech. This helped me better understand the differences between Brazilian Portuguese and the way it’s spoken in Portugal. As I have many Brazilian students, this insight will be very helpful in communicating with them more naturally. Thank you for a great and informative class!
