Lisandro

I really recommend this Spanish teacher, especially if you're starting from zero like me. One of the best things is that the teacher speaks English very well, which makes learning much easier for beginners. The explanations are very clear and easy to understand, and the homework assignments are interesting and help practice what we learn in class. What I like most is how Lisandro organizes each lesson. The way the teacher asks questions is great – even though I know very little Spanish, I can answer and explain things in Spanish, which makes me feel more confident. Everything is explained in a simple and comfortable way that doesn't feel difficult or stressful. Lisandro really knows how to make you feel that you can do it and stay motivated, even when you're just starting to learn Spanish.

Lisandro, in addition to being a great and calm teacher who enriches you with new topics, also has a very clear pronunciation and corrects your mistakes in conversation patiently and without getting bored. When you continue with him, he creates an organized educational plan that helps you get used to reading, improve your pronunciation and speak spontaneously. I recommend him to anyone who wants to master conversation.

This was the last lesson in a pack of 10. My main focus has been to talk and get more comfortable talking. Lisandro made that easy because he is so friendly and personable. I’ve been picking up lots of new vocabulary, phrases, and culture. Highly enjoyed these classes and will continue!

The most honest recommendation I can give: - In late 2022, I had my first class with Lisandro as a shaky yet enthusiastic student that had taken some Spanish in high school and didn't know too much beyond ¿De dondé eres? Lisandro came to our first lesson and each one since with kindness, insightful feedback, and a drive to help me discover the culture and life of the Spanish language. - In March 2025, after working with Lisandro for just two and a half years, my Spanish progressed to the point where I received an offer to work as a bilingual teacher in California. As a non native speaker, I can definitively say this would not be possible without a teacher as dedicated and engaged as Lisandro. In short, take that Spanish lesson, you'll be surprised as to where it can take you!

I’ve been taking beginner Spanish lessons with Lisandro and I’m really enjoying the experience. Lisandro is a great person and conversationalist. He has introduced me to some great topics, music, and videos that have opened up endless conversations and a ton of new vocabulary. It’s all helping me get over my fears and nervousness about speaking in Spanish with people and is unlocking a ton of phrases, structures, and vocabulary I already know but haven’t mastered because I rarely speak in Spanish with people.
