I'm a native English speaker from America with a neutral, North American, English accent. I am originally from San Antonio, Texas, but I am currently traveling in Europe with my wife. I've traveled extensively throughout the world - over 30 countries! I'm also a singer/songwriter and entrepreneur: I started my own business while living in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and over the past twenty years I have written and recorded over one hundred original songs. I am a teacher at heart. I love to teach and help people, it comes naturally to me. There is nothing more rewarding than helping a student achieve their goals, satisfy their curiosity, and gain confidence. I have taught English professionally for ten years, both online, and in person, to students of all ages from different countries and cultures. I taught at Berlitz language academy in the past, but I am now teaching entirely online. I have also given guitar lessons to students of all ages throughout the world, and taught professionally at a Music & Arts school in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, for two years. I am constantly learning myself, whether it's a new language, culture, custom, or idea, so I understand what it's like to be a student and a beginner, and have an ingrained empathy for my students. I am always patient, and create a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere, where students are not afraid to challenge themselves and take chances. I like the way Zach teaches the lesson. He listens attentively, asks a lot of clarifying questions so that I can speak more, corrects politely and suggests many options for how to say things differently. Thank you so much for today's lesson! I can say it was even therapeutic in a way, cos I remembered why I wanted to work with languages in the first place. And I absolutely love the idea to focus on little nuances because it will make my speech more natural and that's exactly what I need!

Zach is a very educational and informative teacher/professor. His sessions are established/run differently depending on your current level or target. Meaning if you communicate with him about what your goals are, he will dynamically modify a session to help you achieve the goals that you have. Also, he is a professional-mannered speaker. Zach is a very patient teacher. He uses daily photos for fun topics and chats with my son in English. My son really enjoys his class. Highly recommended.
