I'm Shiina from Kobe, Japan. Thank you for checking my page. I have more than 5yrs experience of teaching Japanese. I'm passionate about helping Japanese learners. I love traveling and learning languages like Chinese and English. I’m also into yoga, running, watching anime, and more! I really enjoy talking with new people and learning about different cultures. Shiina 先生 is an amazing teacher, she's so kind and patient. She always comes to class with a cheery attitude and does everything she can to make the class environment as comfortable as possible. I tend to be a bit socially anxious, but Shiina 先生 is incredible at knowing how to ask the right questions to keep a conversation going naturally while keeping in mind the Japanese level of her students. Sometimes I'll think that maybe I can't explain something in Japanese, but with her patience and assistance, it feels like we can talk about anything. Her explanations of grammar rules has also helped me immensely to wrap my head around concepts that otherwise would have left me stuck. I would highly recommend her to anyone who's looking for a teacher.

Shiina is a professional teacher, structured, and easy to talk to, plus it was a very fun lesson. It was a surprisingly very good lesson, and exactly what I'm looking for. Will be booking many more lessons with Shiina先生.

My grandma is a Japanese speaker but I am not proficient in the language. Every year, Shiina-san amends my draft birthday messages for my grandma. Grandma is going to be 103 years old next week. The lessons with Shiina-san in the past years were very meaningful to me! Thank you Shiina-san for all the dearest support.

Shiina sensei is an incredibly kind, patient, and helpful teacher. She played a major role in helping me prepare for, and pass, the JLPT N2 level. I strongly recommend her if you need help preparing for the reading section. She is very good at explaining the problems at a level that makes sense. It is a pleasure being taught by Shiina, she is very dedicated and enthusiastic. I will recommend her to every person that wants to learn Japanese. She takes the time to give feedback after the lessons, she encourages you to have a good pronunciation and always repeats questions if you do not understand them. I really enjoy lessons with her
