I am Teacher Amor, a newbie and blessed to be a part of Italki Team.
I am a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education with units in Master of Arts in Education.
I've been a teacher and part of the Education Profession for nine (9) years. I have experiences in teaching both in-person and online class setting, and I still aim to teach in diverse and versatile platforms.
I come from Pampanga, Philippines and my native language is Kapampangan. I can fluently communicate in Filipino - written and oral, informal and formal, as well as in English as my third language.
I love watching Korean Dramas and cooking shows during my "me" time.عني كمعلّم
I believe that I am a great fit to become Italki teacher with my passion for and experiences in learning and teaching for nine (9) years. Through the years, I've developed admirable qualities and honed important and necessary skills as an effective and efficient teacher. An effective teacher must possess the characteristics of an engaging classroom presence, value real-world learning and exchange of best practices and lifelong love for learning.
In my humble opinion, I have acquired such characteristics and skills as a good communicator, emphatic listener with adaptable attitude and engaging spirit.
For my teaching style, I adopted a Hybrid approach where I incorporate my personality, preferences, interests and extra-curricular knowledge to develop deeper knowledge of a particular topic. I used variety of activities, techniques and medium in my classes like Power Point Presentation, Video, drills, games, and other fun and engaging activities.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

We are almost finishing up our next lesson package with Ms Amor. She has been a great teacher to our 9 y/o daughter. She gives appropriate homework and reviews topics with her until she feels confident. My daughter is also able to read and complete sentences now. Can’t wait to keep continuing lessons!

My daughter just finished another package. She looks forward to these lessons. We also just got iWantTFC so now she can try watching Tagalog on TV shows. She’s getting so much better after these lessons!
