Hoi! I’m Judith, a native Dutch speaker and certified TEFL teacher with 4+ years of experience helping students speak Dutch confidently about a wide range of topics. Based in Bali (Europe +6h), I’ve lived abroad for years and I love connecting cultures through language. I love hearing your story! My background in social sciences and public health taught me how to break down complex topics into engaging, step-by-step lessons. Whether you’re preparing for exams, starting from zero, or practicing conversation, I’ll make it fun and tailored to your goals. I am a very personal and happy teacher. I love to make learning fun and interactive. I like to take it step by step and focus on one or maybe two things at the time. As a teacher I am very patient. I also love to hear about your life and share about my own! Everyone has a story to tell. We can talk about anything: news, television shows, technology, psychology, podcasts, traveling, relationships/dating/parenting, or other topics that interests you. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I am happy to work towards your language goals using different tools, like PDF files, podcasts, news articles or videos. You can book me for a single class where we practice a casual conversation, or we work together for a longer period to work towards your learning goals. I teach both students and adults. I provide extensive feedback and I give you small homework assignments to measure your progress and to see what we can work on next lesson. Starting June 1st 2023 I will be available European mornings (7AM - 2PM) due to time difference (Singapore time zone). From this date onwards I am available 5 days a week. Judith is amaaazing teacher!
Very attentive, smart, funny, but what is the most important probably, she prepares lessons very carefully. All materials are createed for your needs, very personal approach.
She always remeber what we talked/studied before and creates planning for needed set of lessons.
I could not reccomend her more to be your Dutch teacher!

Judith is an amazing teacher. I learned a lot during the "proefles", and had fun at the same time. She takes into account the energy that I have and whether there's still enough battery for me to proceed with the reviews --I really appreciate this. There is transparency in both feedback and the scheduling. We discussed future plans where and when it would be possible to book again. Tot volgende keer!

Ik vind het heel leuk om les met Judith te hebbe. Ze geeft veel interessante oefeningen. De lessen zijn altijd gezellig en ontspannen. De lessen zijn volledig in het Nederlands en Judith helpt me begrijpen alles.

Classes with Judith are super nice and it’s always really sweet to talk to her. She’s encouraging, friendly, and always focuses on the topics you want, tailoring the lessons to what you need/want to get better at.
What’s also super helpful is that she sends feedback after every lesson on what you did, and during the lesson uses a whiteboard so everything is written down and easy to review later.
I really like just talking about different topics to learn “real Dutch,” not only grammar or textbook exercises, though that’s possible too if you prefer that.
There’s always homework if you want it. Judith often asks for feedback and adjusts the activities to what you want and need.
The lessons are structured enough but still super flexible, depending on what you want to do or need to get better at. I would 100 % recommend!! :)
