Hello! I'm Gabriela, a Brazilian from the countryside of São Paulo, and I'm here to teach you Portuguese and everything this language has to offer. -Minha atuação como professora: I’m graduating as an English teacher and have been teaching this language for a year to students of different ages at a language school. But my focus here is to help you learn my native language, and if needed, use English as a support tool. -Minhas aulas: Lessons focused on conversation, with contextualized vocabulary tailored to the student's preferences. Grammar is also covered in context and in a light, natural way.

Mas meu foco aqui é te ajudar a aprender meu idioma nativo e se necessário, usar o inglês como ferramenta de auxílio. Lessons focused on conversation, with contextualized vocabulary tailored to the student's preferences. Grammar is also covered in context and in a light, natural way. ⏰ Class Policy: Please be on time. I will wait in the classroom for up to 20 minutes after the scheduled start. If you don’t show up within this time, the class will be marked as completed according to Italki’s policy. Thank you for respecting my time and preparation.

I have had a few lessons with Gabriela now and can honestly say that she was meant to be a teacher; she’s patient, understanding, and approachable. Learning a new language, especially one so different from your own, can be daunting but she really knows how to put you at ease. I would recommend her to anyone looking to take up Brazilian Portuguese.

I really enjoy all my lessons with Gabriela! She is really helpful, patient and encouraging! The lessons are entirely in Portuguese which I appreciate (although she also speaks very good English so can translate anything that I don't know how to say and explain how to say it in Portuguese)
