Julia is amazing for conversational Swedish! Highly recommended.

Another great lesson! I’d been away for a few weeks on holiday so my swedish was very rusty, but Julia helped me pick up right where we left off and get back on track.

I thought the lesson was fantastic. My goal is to improve my conversational skills, and since I already have some experience with Swedish, I wouldn’t consider myself a beginner. Julia picked up on this right away and adapted the lesson to match my level. She was warm, encouraging, and easy to talk to, which made it so much easier to feel comfortable practising my speaking, something I’ve always felt self-conscious about. I would highly recommend her!

Julia is always great. She's so charismatic and animated, it makes chatting in Swedish so much fun. She's also listening carefully though, and is an incredibly effective educator even though that's not her primary profession. Highly recommended!

Julia always makes our sessions fun and conversational. We have shared interests that we discuss, but Julia's natural curiosity and enthusiasm would make her a great conversationalist with anyone. Her corrections are gentle and encouraging so I feel more confident and skilled at speaking after each session. I always learn dozens of new words and phrases during each of our sessions.

Julia is both friendly and gives insightful thoughts about Sweden. In our hour, we got the chance to discuss new Swedish song releases as well as practice reading an article. Julia is thoughtful about my motivations with Swedish and learning about the culture. Her experience in Sweden and the Uk makes her a great person for understanding what sets Sweden apart on the global stage. After every lesson, I am extremely satisfied with our chat.
