Xin chào! I’m Yang, a Hanoi-based Vietnamese teacher specializing in *absolute beginners* and conversational fluency. A graduate in Languages and International Studies, I’ve spent 5+ years helping students from diverse backgrounds—especially those starting from zero! The timing has been perfect with Yang Yang. Our lesson topic was just writing formal and informal letters. I was able to write a formal letter to a Vietnamese restaurant in search of work experience. Yang Yang helped touch it up, and the owner was very impressed with the quality and effort put forth. For anyone learning Vietnamese, stick with it. There might be difficult structures, difficult accents, trouble understanding native speakers.... but one day, it will click and come together. It will make sense. 2.25 years studying with Yang Yang has completely changed the direction of my life, and I look forward to many more lessons with her.
