¡Hola! I am Jhon Jairo, a professional Spanish language instructor from Colombia. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages with specializations in English and French. With over a decade of teaching experience, I employ an engaging methodology that incorporates cultural elements such as literature, cinema, music, and Colombian cuisine to create immersive learning experiences. My academic background and passion for languages enable me to effectively guide students of all proficiency levels in mastering Spanish through dynamic, culturally-rich instruction. Jhon es un profesor estupendo. Es muy paciente ( no sé cómo tiene la paciencia de escucharme cuando estoy tropezándome sobre las palabras). Las clases siempre son divertidas y él utiliza los juegos y ejercicios interesantes para enseñar gramática. Siempre es agradable y es un placer hablar con él. Correge todos mis errores y trata de ayudarme a sonar más natural, como un hablante nativo. Recomiendo ampliamente a Jhon como profesor!

I've taken a few classes with Jhon at this point, and I highly recommend him for folks who are interested in really fine-tuning your Spanish language skills. He's diligent in correcting my (admittedly, many!) mistakes, but always do so in a kind way. He's a great conversationalist and pushes me to practice expressing myself as I might in a social situation with peers and friends. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed the class with Jhon. He was easy to talk to. He had a plan before coming to the class, and we had a productive conversation. He offered different learning options for me, which I greatly appreciated.

Siempre me gustan las lecciones con Jhon. Es muy paciente and tiene un buen sentido del humor, especialmente con mis errores de vocabulario. Jhon es un buen profesor, muy relejado y te hace sentir cómodo hablando. Corrige mis errores y lo explica con claridad. Siempre me da consejos sobre cómo sonar más natural. Disfruto cada clase y siempre tengo ganas de la próxima.
