As a native speaker of both Urdu and Hindku Punjabi, I bring over three years of dedicated teaching experience to my students. I specialize in guiding adult learners to master the Urdu language, whether they are beginners or seeking to enhance their fluency. My teaching approach integrates poetry, cultural narratives, and real-life conversational practice, creating an engaging and meaningful learning environment. With patient and supportive guidance, I strive to ensure that every learner gains confidence and a deeper appreciation for the richness of Urdu. Assalamualikum everyone.
I am Arooj Ahmed from Pakistan, I am a tutor of both Urdu and Hindku Punjabi languages, with 3 years experience of teaching the Urdu language to children and adults. I Love Urdu poetry, and I write Urdu poems as well. I can help you with Urdu reading, writing, and speaking.
I am a native speaker of Hindku Punjabi too, I can engage in good Punjabi conversations. I like to deal with students based on their learning capacity, I am greatly patient with slow learners.
I am a very friendly teacher, I like to engage students based on their interest in the related field. I have been taking lessons with Arooj for over a year now. Arooj was able to assess my Urdu and quickly recognized where my strengths and weaknesses were, and she’s adapted our lessons as I continued to progress.
The biggest change I’ve seen is in my confidence. Arooj plans our lessons around talking about a variety of subjects and is able to guide me in the right direction whenever I feel stuck. She is easy to talk to and is amazing at teaching!

I have been taking lessons with Arooj for about a year and I have had a great experience! Arooj is always patient with the learning process and always provides resources after lessons. I have definitely noticed an improvement in my Urdu and can now have basic conversations. I am now working on reading more Urdu, and am looking forward to continuing to progress!
