I have a passion for learning about other cultures and I've made many language exchange partners here on italki. I'm currently studying Korean. I'm an editor and proofreader, so I spend a lot of my time correcting written English. I'm also a content creator, which allows me to play video games in my spare time.
I'm a very positive person who has a big heart. I love helping others and seeing them grow as people. A few years ago, I was approved to teach English in Korea, but I became sick. I've been struggling with chronic pain ever since then, so it has been a big adaptation trying to live life differently. But I'm thankful to have that opportunity to teach here on italki!عني كمعلّم
I'm patient, friendly, and fun! I am easy to talk to, which often allows people to feel comfortable and be more open about the things they struggle with and want to improve. I like to encourage the student before I start correcting everything - unless that's your style!
I adapt to each student and I think that's the most important part about me as a teacher. I believe everyone is different and has different styles of learning. I want to get to know people and what makes them excited to learn. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I like to keep a friendly and encouraging atmosphere in my lessons, but that doesn't mean that I will let things slip by unnoticed. I want to find a way that makes the student comfortable with making errors and addressing what can be improved. I find it easier to learn when lessons take a more conversational and natural approach, but I still like to know a student's goals and have a plan moving forward.

Although it was only my first lesson, I quickly felt comfortable conversing and exploring many different topics! Brittany made it easy to have a conversation and our discussion flowed quite naturally. We went over the things that I wanted to improve upon and came up with a plan for future sessions. It was an excellent lesson and experience overall, I highly recommend Brittany!

Brittany is professional and easygoing! She is very gentle, open to finding the fittest way to do lessons, and knows perfectly what her students need to develop language skills in vocabulary, pronunciation, and confidence.
