My name is Esther from Kenya. I enjoy reading books, swimming, travelling, working out, meeting new people from different cultures, outdoor activities like boat riding, adventure like zip lining and many more. Teaching Swahili is my passion, and I appreciate the time with my learners. I hope we can meet soon and learn.عني كمعلّم
Learning a new language is good as it helps one to express themselves with confidence, hence making interactions easy. I am patient and understanding which are key virtues when teaching a new language. In addition to general workbook, textbook information, I like to use common tasks, activities, hobbies or any real life situations to help my students practice. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي

I enjoyed a lot my first Swahili lesson. We went through a LingQ Ministory that I had already read before. This made the start definitely easier. However, it was especially the patience and kindness of Martha that shrugged off my worries. Asante sana!

Having a lesson with Esther is easy and fun, she makes you feel confident. 60 minutes of swahili conversation about different topics just passed away like a few minutes.

Esther is brilliant! She has such a sharp eye for the tiny little details of the Swahili language. We went through another short story that I now understand a lot better. But more important I feel more confident about my progress and will try out to use the new words Esther taught me.
