Hi! I’m Helena, a teacher from the Czech Republic. I have experience teaching both children and adults. My lessons are friendly and adapted to your goals. We focus mainly on speaking and practical communication, while also improving accuracy when needed. As someone who learned English later in life, I understand the challenges of language learning and support my students with patience and encouragement. In preparation for a trip to Prague, I worked with Helena to learn some Czech. She was an excellent instructor. Helena was thoroughly prepared for each lesson and guided me through the language with enthusiasm, warmth, and patience. She left me with homework which really helped me learn quite a number of phrases and words in a short period of time. I really had a lot of fun learning Czech. She also provided information regarding Czech culture and made the lessons relevant to our upcoming trip. I highly recommend her.
