I am a native English speaker from England with over six years of professional English teaching experience, both online and in person, working with adult learners in the UK and Germany. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Law and two Master's degrees: one in Western Philosophy from King's College, University of London, and another in Buddhist Philosophy. My diverse academic background enables me to offer a unique, intellectually rich approach to language learning, ideal for motivated students who value depth and critical thinking. I have professional experience and knowledge teaching General, Business, IELTS and academic English. I am also a British Council qualified IELTS speaking examiner and can prepare students for the IELTS speaking tests. I prefer to adapt teaching style to the individual learner.

My experience was very disappointing. The first 5–10 minutes were spent trying to resolve technical issues on the computer with the italki app. During this time, the teacher repeatedly suggested canceling the lesson and told me they would report it to italki. In the end, we couldn’t have a proper lesson for the first 15 minutes. I eventually joined from my phone, but the teacher kept saying that my internet was not good and again suggested canceling, saying they didn’t really have much time. I insisted on continuing, but the lesson was not effective. I would like to request a 50% refund. If their time is valuable, then so is my money.
