Tobias is methodical, organized, patient and kind teacher. He knows his material and knows how to let the conversation flow naturally. The lessons are fun and smooth. It is helpful that I get notes afterwards. I highly recommend if you are serious about learning German.

Tobias is very kind and patient. He always keeps the conversation going to enable me to speak as much as possible. The homework suggested for every class is quite interesting and I always learn something new from it. I really enjoy the classes with Tobias and I would recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their conversational German.

Absolutely wonderful teacher! I was nervous about learning German, but my teacher’s patience and encouragement have made all the difference. He explains things as many times as I need without ever making me feel bad or reminding me that we’ve gone over something before. He never makes me feel uncomfortable or dumb—just the opposite, he builds my confidence every lesson. If you’re looking for a supportive, kind, and incredibly effective German teacher, I definitely recommend Tobias! :)

I have had about 10 lessons with Tobias so far, and I think I have found something great! Tobias is an excellent teacher. I am in B1 classes, but Tobias provides an excellent opportunity for me to be able to practice speaking and listening. He is very encouraging and allows you to make mistakes without making you feel embarrassed or ashamed! He uses a google doc to give you vocabulary. He provides a DW Top Themes article for you to read between lessons, and that forms a basis for some of the conversation. I highly recommend Tobias!
