Prior to teaching, I worked as a landscape architect for six years—this background has given me in-depth insights into Chinese gardens, traditional architecture, and Chinese aesthetics, allowing me to integrate unique cultural perspectives into language lessons.​ Helped multiple students score high in HSK. Pinyin: Most master fluent/accurate spelling in 6 lessons, conquering tricky tones for a solid foundation. Characters: No rote memorization! Break down logic (pictographic, etc.) + visual memory—grasp cultural connotations, recognize/remember/apply flexibly. Spoken Chinese: Student-centered, 50%+ speaking time per class.
