I've completed 26 lessons with Öznur so far, and I can say it has been a fantastic experience. She is kind, smart, fun and very good when providing feedback to improve. She has sent me several homework exercises that have helped me practice during the week. I started learning Turkish with Duolingo for 6 months, but I began making real progress when I began my lessons with Öznur. I recently sent her an email in Turkish, and I was surprised that I was able to write several paragraphs without a translator, except for a few words I had not learned yet. Totally recommended. Öznur was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. This was my first ever lesson in Turkish, but she was patient with me as I used what little I know. I learned some new vocabulary and grammar, and talked about the culture as well. I'm looking forward to my next lesson!

I always enjoy lessons with Öznur. We talked about my daily life, problems finding good builders and other skilled workers, big repairs to my house, etc. she also gave me practice in the -ir…-mez construction, which I had asked about.

Öznur was very patient as she helped me talk about things for which I didn’t know the vocabulary. She taught me how to use -ken, at my request, and gave me some homework to practise it. An enjoyable and useful lesson. I appreciate her willingness to be flexible and teach me what I ask to learn.
