Alex is a fantastic teacher. He instantly puts you at ease with his patience and his calm approach. He is friendly and easy to talk to. I think a large part of language learning is self confidence and feeling embarrassed really holds you back. Alex creates an environment where you feel comfortable so that you don’t worry about getting things wrong. I think this is really helping me to move forward with my Dutch. I highly recommend Alex, he’s a great guy.

Alex is the most relaxed teacher I’ve ever had which creates a very collaborative space where I’m encouraged to try new words, phrases and challenges. I’m close to a beginner level and Alex will happily adjust the words he uses so that we can have conversations at my level rather than throwing in a bunch of words which I can’t understand. He has plenty of handy tricks to learning the language and I can always be sure I’ll walk away from the lesson with a new favourite, relevant Dutch phrase to practise.

Alex is a super nice guy, very friendly, very supportive and really just a fun teacher to learn with! I enjoy every lesson just as much as I would enjoy hanging with a friend!

Alex is an amazing teacher. Being a native English speaker gives you both the knowledge of what it takes for a Brit to learn Dutch but is also proof that it can be done. His persistence and perseverance is a great support.

My first conversation lesson with teacher Alex was a truly enjoyable experience. He speaks at a pace that suits me perfectly, which made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the lesson. I learned a great deal and I am already looking forward to our next conversation, as I can see how much this is helping me become more fluent in speaking English. Alex is exceptionally patient and friendly, and the notes he provides in the chat box are extremely helpful for improving and learning more effectively. I would highly recommend his lessons.
