🇺🇸 | Hey! My name is Jun and I’ll be your American culture and language teacher! I am recent university graduate with bachelor’s degrees in economics and political science. I am passionate about learning, critically analyzing, and discussing topics on culture, society, politics, and economics with a focus on my home country, the United States! I love sharing this passion by teaching the peculiarities of American English, American slang, and aspects of culture and daily life in the US. I am a person with a lot of patience and empathy and love to create safe spaces for students for open dialogue and conversation. Los estudiantes hispanohablantes son muy bienvenidos, ¡hablo español también! :) - Relaxed and patient - Personalized lessons - Diversified materials and activities - A focus on critically analyzing and discussing complex topics From my experiences as a student of multiple languages, the best classes I have taken were relaxed, spontaneous, and filled with discussion. I try to create this atmosphere in my classes with catalysts of conversation such as questions, slideshows, articles, etc. and adapt the class in a way that appeals to you.
