Born in Delft and now teaching for over 35 years as a qualified teacher in different languages: Dutch, French and German. Also studied Italian and some basic Arab. In the 90’s we lived abroad: in this way I realize how someone could experience the first year in another country.
It is a real privilege and pleasure meeting so many kind and interesting people from very different cultures: geo-physicians, north pole captains, mathematicians, managers, tenure trackers at the technical university, strategicians, controllers, translators-interpreters, ..
Besides, in my former life I was sommelier and gave many workshops about wine (combined with food). This might be an interesting theme!عني كمعلّم
My credo is; plaire and instruire: this French ideal of the 17th century means offering structure and feeling good! Or the other way around!
As a teacher one should be a teacher, a coach, a helper, an instructor, a psychologue, a native speaker (for the advanced level), a polyglot, a friend, a comedian, a reader.... what did i forget? :)دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I will observe the student and adapt the program to his or her needs and wishes
Depending on the level you desire, we will work with different material. If you like to obtain the A2-level, I like to start with a book, first you will learn the basic grammar and vocabulary. This applies also for B1- level (the new inburgering / integration level since 2022). For an advanced level we can work with actualities, articles from newspapers or small films etc ..
If you like to get your 'inburgering' (integration diplom) I will train this with multiple exams.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

I can't imagine a better teacher than Lotty. I have truly felt that she is just as invested in my learning goals as I am. She is very knowledgeable and experienced, while also being wonderfully personable and genuinely encouraging. Especially for anyone dedicated to mastering the language for professional or integration purposes, you will learn the best and enjoy the most from working with this gifted teacher!

Lessen met Lotty zijn erg leuk en leerzaam. Ze gaf me genoeg materiaal om te studeren en huiswerk te maken. Ze is enthousiast om les te geven en is erg bemoedigend in de lessen. Ik vind het erg leuk en kijk uit naar de volgende les!
