8 years ago I finished my studies with a second bachelor in Business, with great honorees. Immediately after that I started travelling and I never really stopped. I have lived in Korea, Philippines, Australia, New-Zealand and travelled around in 20+ other countries. Along the way, I picked up fire dancing as a hobby, and there I discovered a passion for teaching.
To fund these travels, I worked as a Logistic Planner, Lab Assistant, Hotel Manager, Property Manager, WH Supervisor, HR-consultant and Carpenter.
Three years ago, I started helping immigrants with their English. Now, I am TEFL certified and ready to help you with your struggles in learning a new language.عني كمعلّم
As a teacher, I love one-on-one classes. I listen to your goals and we go from there.
I offer 2 types of lessons to choose from, that we alter together to reach your goals:
- Conversational Class ==> through interesting conversations, I help you build vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. Perfect for both kids and adults who want to practice and improve!
- Traditional Class ==> with 3 course books, we tackle all kind of grammar topics or industry-specific vocabulary based on your needs. This is a structured, well-prepared class for absolute beginners and people looking to get better in Dutch! With the conversational classes, we dive into your passions. We'll explore relevant articles together, creating a positive learning experience.
Dive into 'Dutch in 3 Months' or 'Basic Dutch' for creating some solid basics, from alphabet to sentence structure, boosting your confidence to converse fluently. These basics you will have to drill, because you can't build a house if you don't have a good foundation.
Already have a good foundation, but you want classes to improve? 'Intermediate Dutch' will get you forward with challenging topics and in-depth grammar.

Quinten est un excellent professeur de néerlandais. J’apprends cette langue depuis un certain temps et j’ai constaté une amélioration considérable. Il prend des notes très détaillées que je peux utiliser pour étudier après chaque leçon (structures grammaticales, expressions, nouveau vocabulaire). Il est engagé, il est disponible et très aidant. Je le recommande vivement à toute personne qui souhaite progresser en néerlandais !

Quinten is awesome, I honestly really look forward every week to our lessons. I like them so much that I even got my brother to also start taking lessons from Quinten! They are always super engaging and fun, and that's down both to his great personality and smart teaching style. I've been meeting with Quinten for a few months now and have definitely noticed significant improvement. In fact, the other day I was even able to have a conversation with my opa completely in Dutch for 30 minutes (I probably wouldn't have been able to do even 5 minutes back when we started), and I would attribute a lot of that to these lessons I've had with Quinten. Thank you Quinten, and looking forward to many more lessons!

I highly recommend Quinten!! He has been tutoring my son Lucas for a few months now in Dutch. He has successfully developed Lucas's conversational skills into grammatically correct Dutch. Lucas is now prepared to start secondary school in Belgium in the fall. Thank you and great work!
