As a certified Cambridge examiner with 10+ years of experience, I specialize in IELTS, TOEFL, and Cambridge exam preparation, helping students conquer test anxiety for academic, immigration, or career goals. Based in Nottingham with international teaching experience, I blend cross-cultural insights into lessons. Off-duty, I train for ultra marathons and cheer my football team, embodying the perseverance I teach.عني كمعلّم
I passed the CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Cambridge University in 2013, and I have been working as an English in schools and online since then.
I have taught people of all ages from all over the world with many different needs. From general English to exam preparation to conversation practice, I have a lot of experience.
I have been particularly successful in preparing students for exams. Specifically, IELTS, C1 Advanced (CAE), B2 First (FCE), TOEFL, as well as other more unique examsدروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
In general English classes, we often speak a lot, but this speaking is focused on specific topics and input such as texts, audio, quizzes etc. Then we look at vocabulary or grammar from the input (depending on the purpose of the lesson) so we can learn it from context. This makes it a little easier to understand and remember. After that, we practise using the langue in exercises and in conversation. All while focusing on your strengths and weaknesses.
In exam classes, we look at the requirements of each exam the strategies that can help with the different problems of taking an exam. We then look at your strengths and weaknesses and work on improving them to help you get the score you need.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

My name is Francesca, I'm using my partner account to leave a review about Nathan. He was superb helping me with my IELTS test, he gave me the best suggestions to understand the tests and to achieve my goal (7 overal and nothing under 6.5).

Nathan has a personalized approach. First, we work together during classes. After identifying your difficulties, he does specifics exercises to improve your weakest point. He is always opened for questions and focused in the student’s needs. Despite the long way ahead of me, it seems to get a bit easier each day. Studying with Nathan, I feel more confident and prepared for the TOEFL exam.

Nathan is a superb teacher who can find out my main problems with CAE speaking.A 45 minutes class really benefits me,as I have finally learnt how to built the frame and structure of my speaking and focus on answering the examiner’s questions.It is certainly a wonderful experience!
