I'm Sarah. I've been teaching Italian and English for over 30 years, and I still enjoy every lesson.
I trained formally as a teacher with a background in pedagogy, learning psychology and educational methodology. That means I don't just know the language: I know how people learn it, where they get stuck, and how to help them move forward.
My lessons are calm, structured and built around you. I work with adults and young learners at all levels, from complete beginners to advanced students preparing for official exams.

I believe mistakes are how you learn, and I've never once made a student feel embarrassed for getting something wrong.
I use positive reinforcement as a conscious method. Progress happens when you feel safe enough to try, to repeat, to ask the same question twice. I create that space.

My lessons are practical, dynamic and focused on real communication. We use everyday situations, clear grammar explanations and guided speaking practice to help you progress naturally. I choose activities based on your goals, so each lesson feels useful and relevant. Materials are personalised and easy to follow. I never thought I would have any conversations in Italian, and I REALLY never thought I would be having full on conversations about Doctor Who in Italian... But with the power of Sarah's teaching abilities, I can do both!!! I have so much fun learning Italian with Sarah, it never feels like homework, just a good time! Grazie mille!!
