Hello! I’m Laone, a certified English teacher from Botswana who specialises in practical, real-world language skills, especially for healthcare professionals and career-driven learners. With 6+ years of experience, I help students bridge the gap between textbook English and everyday communication by blending my TEFL expertise with a background in environmental health to deliver uniquely relevant lessons. I believe that I have a lot of potential to help my students improve their reading, writing, listening, speaking and comprehension skills in the English language. In our dynamic classroom, we'll focus on all aspects of language acquisition, from listening and speaking to reading and writing. With a variety of engaging activities, games, and multimedia resources, you'll quickly grasp new vocabulary, grammar rules, and pronunciation. My goal is to create a warm and inclusive space where you can freely practice English, ask questions, and express yourself without hesitation. We are very happy with our daughter’s English teacher, Laone, on Italki. She teaches engaging lessons twice a week, and our daughter really likes her English lessons, speaking a lot and learning a lot during these sessions.

I found behavior unprofessional. Ordering food in the middle of lesson and ending the lesson 10 minutes early because the tutor wanted to go eat. I paid for 60 minutes for a reason, and if I wanted 45 minutes, it would have been cheaper for me.
