旅行が好きです。いろいろな文化や言葉にとても興味があります。
今勉強しているのは英語とフランス語です。

Hello! My name is Yotsuba. I’m from Yokohama, Japan, and I speak standard Japanese.
I love traveling and learning about different cultures and languages.
Right now, I’m studying English and French.
I also enjoy doing yoga, watching dramas, and YouTube.

ボランティアで日本語を2年ほど教えました。
その後、420時間の日本語教師養成講座を終了し、現在はオンラインで日本語を教えています。italkiでは2年ほど前から利用しています。
みなさんが安心して学べるように、フレンドリーでリラックスできる雰囲気を大切にしています。また、完全プライベートレッスンの強みを生かし、生徒さんのペースや目標に合わせて授業を進めます。

I started teaching Japanese as a volunteer for about 2 years.
After that, I completed a 420-hour Japanese Teacher Training Course, and now I teach Japanese online.
I’ve been teaching on italki for about 2 years.
I always try to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where students can feel comfortable and confident.

・会話クラス
・Genkiクラス（閉講中）
まずはトライアルレッスンの受講をおすすめします。
いずれも、終了前の5分間を休憩時間とする場合があります。その場合レッスン時間は25分又は55分となるのでご了承ください。クラスの詳細はクラスページをご覧ください。

-Genki Class (unavailable)
I recommend starting with the Trial Lesson.
Regular lessons can be 30 or 60 minutes long.Please note that in some cases, the last 5 minutes may be used as a short break, so the lesson may be about 25 or 55 minutes.

It’s difficult to write a review for Yotsuba-sensei in under 1000 characters because I have too many good things to say about her! She’s smart, funny, kind, caring and very patient. Even though I struggle with social anxiety and one-on-one conversations, I always look forward to our lessons because she is really easy to talk to, always seems to be in a good mood, and is able to make any topic fun.
I feel as though in the 3 months I’ve had lessons with Yotsuba-sensei that I’ve progressed more than in my entire last year of self-study, and I'm very grateful for her help in my learning journey. I really recommend her!

Like as always, Yotsuba sensei's lesson are fun and relaxing. I have been taking the lessons for a few months now and I can really feel my speaking has been improved significantly. Looking forward to the next lesson!

It’s been a while since I had a lesson and it was tons of fun as usual!! Learned a lot about New Years tradition (Osechi) and Setsubun! Looking forward to another lesson!

Yotsuba sensei's lesson is always enthusiastic and fun to talk to. Even with my broken Japanese, Yotsuba sensei is very encouraging and guided me to slowly express myself. During lessons, I have learned many new words and how to express in a more natural way. I definitely have improved in my speaking after a few lessons. Highly recommended for people who'd like to practice their Japanese speaking!
