Hello! I’m Mariam Jane, a 24-year-old educator from the Philippines with a strong passion for teaching and a dynamic approach to learning. I hold a degree in Special Needs Education and have over two years of experience teaching English, Filipino, and Cebuano to both children and adults. I also provide tutoring in Science and Math, supporting students in both academic and personal development.
I work with a diverse range of learners including individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder in my local community as well as adult learners who are studying for work, academic advancement, or personal growth. My lessons are designed to be inclusive, engaging, and supportive.عني كمعلّم
Being a teacher is a wild mix of passion, patience, and knowing when to crack a good joke 😄. My teaching style is simple: I break down tricky topics into bite-sized, easy-to-understand lessons, no stress, no pressure, just good vibes and learning at your own pace!

When it comes to lessons, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I always plan based on each student’s level so if you're a beginner, don’t worry! We’ll start from the basics, nice and easy. 🧠✨

No stress, no pressure just the right amount of motivation and fun! 🎉Every learner is unique, so I adjust my style to fit YOUR learning goals and needs. Getting started again with my Cebuano learning, this time focusing on listening and speaking and less focus on reading and writing. The first lesson was well structured and I was surprised to see how much I actually understood. Teacher Mariam knows how to level with me so that she can speak Cebuano most of the time without overwhelming me.

The teacher accepted moving the lesson from 8am to 10am when I messaged the teacher that I had trouble sleeping and was afraid to oversleep. This willingness to show consideration gives me a good impression of the teacher's character.
