Hello, I'm Yumi. Currently, I live in Suwon, near the capital of South Korea, and I am fluent in standard Korean. I have been working as a teacher in the education field for 15 years. While working as a TOEIC instructor, I became fascinated with teaching Korean to foreigners and obtained a Korean teaching certificate.
Above all, I am confident in teaching and can help students reach their goals by catering to their needs.عني كمعلّم
I have been teaching students for over 15 years, and currently, I teach TOEIC and Korean. Although my professional experience in teaching Korean is relatively recent, about a year, teaching in general has been my mainstay for a long time, and it's what I feel most confident doing.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
If you don't have a specific textbook preference, I will conduct the class using PDF files and PowerPoint presentations that I have prepared.
My classes cover essential grammar but focus more on speaking and vocabulary. Many learners struggle with connecting their extensive studies to a lack of Korean vocabulary and fluent speaking skills. Join my systematic classes according to your level:
Beginner Course: Practice speaking through basic grammar, vocabulary, and sentence construction exercises.
Intermediate Course: Study various expressions related to real-life situations and engage in fluent speaking practice.

I've taken several classes with Yumi and I always look forward to my next class. She is a great teacher and is very welcoming and patient to new beginners of Korean. She always has engaging course materials that you can use both in and outside of class. She's super friendly and I 10/10 recommend her for anyone wanting to learn Korean in a fun and laidback environment!
