Welcome! I'm Janine Gargoles or Teacher J ,a dynamic educator on the brink of earning my teaching license. My teaching philosophy revolves around putting students at the helm of their learning journey, empowering them to explore, question, and grow. Outside the classroom, I'm a fervent explorer, delving into the pages of books, savoring diverse cuisines, and immersing myself in the rich tapestry of global cultures. Hailing from the enchanting landscapes of the Philippines and fluent in the poetic rhythms of Cebuano, I bring warmth, enthusiasm, and an innate ability to connect with others. Utilizing PowerPoint presentations, vibrant visuals, and a relaxed teaching style, I aim to engage and inspire while maintaining a supportive atmosphere conducive to learning.

It's not just about mastering vocabulary or perfecting pronunciation; it's about gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation for the people, traditions, and spirit that make the Philippines truly unique.

I finish my degree last last June 10, 2023 as college department honor with a degree bachelor in secondary education majoring social studies. I experienced teaching in a classroom setting both in-campus and out-campus. I teach Understanding Culture Society and Politics subjects to all grade 11 students both academic and non-academics strand. I am optimistic, driven and passionate in teaching with a student-centered approach.
