Your Filipino Adventure Starts Here: Personalized Learning Just for You! Hi! I’m Kane, a licensed nurse and Tagalog tutor from the Philippines. I started teaching during the pandemic and fell in love with it. Being a nurse helps me connect better with students, especially those in the medical field. I enjoy helping people and love seeing my students grow in confidence. Whether you're learning Tagalog for travel, family, or work, I’m here to support you every step of the way. I’m friendly, patient, and flexible. I understand that every student learns differently, so I always adjust my approach based on what works best for you. I give honest feedback, but I make sure it’s always encouraging and helpful. I take time to listen and guide my students so they feel comfortable using the language. Many of my students say I make learning feel less stressful and more like a real conversation. My lessons are engaging, personalized, and practical. I create them based on your goals whether that’s for travel, daily conversation, or work. You’re also free to request specific lessons if there’s something you want to focus on. I use real-life examples, storytelling, and role-play to help you speak Tagalog naturally. I keep things fun and simple, so you’ll enjoy learning while making real progress.

Fantastic teacher for my 4-year old son. Spoke in full Tagalog in simple language and got him speaking. Exactly the immersive type of lesson I’ve been looking for. All other teachers we tried spoke far too much English. She has really fun interactive sessions tailored to my son’s interests. Perfect teacher for us!

This was my first introduction tagalog class with Miss Kane. I like her style of teaching. She was prepared, professional, easy going and had a sense of humor. She also gave me feed back and was encouraging. I ended up booking 10 lessons.

We are using more Tagalog and less English which shows progress! I enjoy the real life scenarios and examples. Miss Kane provides good feedback and alternate ways to express the meaning of our sentences.
