Yuka-sensei is an amazing teacher. She is incredibly kind and makes you feel like you're talking to a friend, while also taking great care to make sure you're learning and getting better. She encourages you to speak, doesn't hyperfocus on unnecessary technical details, instead focusing on your greater understanding of Japanese.

Yuka-sensei always makes the lessons very engaging and integrates new vocabulary into contexts that make it easy for me to remember. Her notes from our conversations also really help me review the material later on. I always look forward to our lessons
