Hello! I’m Nadia, a certified native English teacher from New York City with 13 years of international teaching and tutoring experience. I hold a Master’s in Education from Harvard and a law degree from Fordham and am also TEFL-certified at the Level 5 Diploma (168 hours). I scored in the 98th percentile for GRE verbal and writing and passed the New York Bar Exam on my first attempt. I specialize in fluency coaching and communication for professionals, academics, and motivated learners. My lessons are structured, engaging, and results-driven. If you're ready to speak confidently, write clearly, and succeed in English, I’d love to work with you! I’m a licensed and certified teacher who has worked with professionals, teens, and children in a variety of settings. I’ve taught in international schools in South Korea, U.S. classrooms, and as a private tutor. While earning my Master’s at Harvard, I trained in American schools. I’ve helped students improve fluency, academic reading, and communication skills, and I’ve supported North Korean refugees as an English instructor. I focus on creating purposeful, student-centered lessons that help learners gain confidence and make real progress. My lessons are structured, personalized, and focused on fluency, clarity, and confidence. 영어 문장에서 관사를 구별하는 게 어려웠는데 선생님께서 잘 설명해주셨습니다. 수업 내에서 다양한 활동을 할 수 있어서 좋았어요! 특히 저는 추후에 토플이나 다른 시험을 위해 말하기/쓰기 부분을 집중적으로 배우고 싶었는데 저의 상황에 맞게 자료를 준비해주셔서 큰 도움이 될 것 같습니다.
