My name is Maria. I am from Greece, but I live in Norway. I have a bachelor's degree in History and Ethnology and I recently completed my master's in Social Anthropology. I have also studied African Studies in Germany. Additionally, I have lived in Peru where I conducted fieldwork. Living in different countries taught me a lot. I am really passionate about language learning and I love experiencing different ways of life and meeting new people from all around the world. Me llamo María. Soy de Grecia, pero vivo en Noruega. Soy licenciada en Historia y Etnología y tengo maestría en Antropología Social. Además, viví en Perú. Vivir en diferentes países me ha enseñado mucho.
As a teacher, I create an interactive learning environment filled with diverse activities that keep lessons engaging and effective. I like keeping the course in a friendly and informal level. My approach is highly interactive, combining a variety of activities to keep learning dynamic and engaging. My goal is to create a supportive and inspiring environment where students feel safe and comfortable. First lesson ever in Greek, Maria was very good at explaining the pronunciation and coming up with examples to help me understand. She took into account my learning preferences. I am excited for further classes!
