I’m from Tuscany and I live in Seville. I have a humanities background and I’ve been working with Italian language and culture for years. I love literature, music, current affairs, and anything that comes from connecting different cultures. I’ve travelled a lot, which helps me understand what it feels like to learn a new language, its challenges and its rewards. That’s why I create practical, engaging lessons shaped around your interests and your goals.

I’m a communicative and empathetic teacher. For me, a lesson is first and foremost an authentic conversation, not an interrogation. I like to create a calm, supportive space where asking questions, making mistakes, and trying again feels natural. I’m dynamic and curious: I love learning as much as teaching, and I enjoy sparking students’ curiosity with engaging topics, varied activities, and materials connected to everyday real life. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My lessons are varied and dynamic. We can focus more on grammar and building a solid structure, or lean into conversation and a more natural, everyday use of Italian. I adapt to each student’s needs and shape the learning path around your goals, your level, and your interests. I had my first lesson with Irene and it was a great experience. She immediately adapted the lesson for my needs and asked thoughtful questions to assess my level, which made the lesson feel very personalized. I especially appreciated that she asked how I prefer to be corrected instead of interrupting me while I was speaking, that made me feel comfortable and confident. Her energy is lively and engaging. I'm really looking forward to continuing lessons with her.
