Teodora Paucean

Teodora is really wonderful! I had a special request since I already speak Romanian at an advanced level but I live in America now so I wanted to take lessons in order to keep my vocabulary fresh and my fluency of speaking at a good level. Teodora is very engaging, she always asks questions and is really nice to talk with. She also brings up topics with vocabulary that I’m not as familiar with such as the medical field. You can kind of tell that she has a humanities background because she is very tuned into what I need and want to talk about. I would recommend Teodora’s tutoring to anyone with a higher level of Romanian fluency who wants to keep their language skills fresh. 10/10!

I really like the classes with Teodora, the atmosphere is great and at the same time very productive. She explains everything when you don't understand and supports you.

I had enough chance to talk about the topic and get my questions answered. My composition was checked appropriately, and I'm satisfied with the lesson.

I feel like my control of Romanian is strengthening with each lesson and set of homework assignments. Teodora is structured but not rigid, planned but not closed to new methods, serious but not without humor. Really a great balance. I've increased my lessons to 1.5 hours from 1 since I get so much out of the lessons. She's highly recommended by me to any level of student at whichever stage.
