Hi, I’m Stacy and I am from California. I have been a college professor for 6 years, teaching art and art history and I recently began teaching English online after finishing my 190-hour TEFL Certification. I have traveled all over the world and am currently working on moving to Japan. I love learning new things and meeting people through language exchange. My interests include art, politics, history, literature, environmental issues, travel, pets, fitness and so many other things. I believe that learning should be fun, engaging, and tailored to the goals of the student. Although I enjoy teaching beginners, I specialize in early intermediate to very advanced English. Because of my experience as an academic, I am particularly good at helping with academic English, including writing, presentation practice, and test prep. I am also qualified to teach business English, intermediate and advanced grammar and vocabulary acquisition, or conversation practice.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I tailor my teaching content to each student based on their goals and interests. I use my own materials and skill-specific textbooks in addition to authentic reading and listening materials, including news articles, essays, short stories and podcasts. In a conversation class, for example, I might have the student read an essay before class so that we can work on debate strategies and polite disagreement. Or, if a student is refining a pitch for work, we can focus on persuasive writing and speaking. I also teach a general English class which includes speaking, reading, writing, and listening activities that present grammar and vocabulary in context.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس
