Bonjour! I’m a native French speaker from Bordeaux, and I also spent 10 years living in Réunion Island, a beautiful French island in the Indian Ocean. My life has been quite international — I lived in Ireland and Malta, travelled around South-East Asia while working online, and I’ve been based in Thailand for the past three years. I learned English as an adult, so I truly understand what it feels like to search for words, feel nervous speaking, and slowly build confidence in another language. As a native French speaker, I’m here to help you feel that same confidence when speaking French. I can also use English during lessons if you need support.

Great lesson! We practiced speaking about daily routines in French, and the Lia sent the materials ahead of time which was really helpful. She was patient throughout, always waiting for me to finish my sentences before stepping in, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and pressure-free. Never once felt rushed or slow. Highly recommend!

Lia is very encouraging, attentive, pleasant and easy to work with.By sending materials beforehand, she sets a topic and a tone for the lesson that keeps the conversation flowing. She shows a lot of encouragement when I am scrambling for words and struggling to complete what I am trying to say. She does not rush to finish my sentences for me, and that takes a lot of patience. I feel much more confident and assured by the end of the lesson.

Lia is great for practicing French speaking! She is encouraging me is such a casual, positive and supportive way that I get more and more confident with each class))) I really appreciate that the flow of the lesson is smooth and positive, I also find the way Lia is suggesting corrections quite supportive and nonstressing 😊 If you are looking for a French practicing classes look no further))

Best teacher ever! Having classes with her you wont even feel that you are having class and still learn a lot of new vocab. Plus, she corrects you whenever you make a mistake in speaking which helps a lot. Highly recommended!

ravi de vous rencontrer Lia, today’s lesson was very enjoyable with her. Despite my constant mistakes on listening and pronunciation due to often mixing up with my knowledge in Spanish. Lia seems to be a very patient, encouraging teacher that made me feel comfortable of expressing myself in French . Also because of my Vietnamese background, Her stories about her life in both Thailand and Vietnam were also cool to hear, which makes the overall conservation both very fun and relatable. If I have time of learning French, à bientôt!
