Hi everyone!
My name is Kristina, I am a 33 year old native Norwegian and I grew up in Norway, in Oslo. Norwegian is one of my native languages, the other two being English and Russian. I also speak German and French fluently,
In the past years I have been tutoring students in English, German and French. Since I have been working in an international pharmaceutical company for 7 years, I can easily adapt to different cultures and personalities.
In my spare time I enjoy reading books, watching series, leaning Mandarin Chinese and spending time outside in the nature. I also really like different kind of sports, especially ice skating and cross country skiing.عني كمعلّم
Do you want to speak Norwegian like a native? Then you're in the right place! I know how challenging it might be to start learning a new language, so here on italki I would like to help you as much as I can with your progress in Norwegian and also to keep your motivation up. During the first lesson I will be able to evaluate your Norwegian proficiency and understand your goals and expectations. Then we move on with learning whatever is important to you at that moment, anything from reading texts and grammar training to conversational practice and pronunciation. Having lived for the most part of my childhood in Oslo, I speak "bokmål", which is the dialect spoken in Oslo-region and it is very easy to understand. During our conversations we can talk about anything you like, from music, movies and sports to nature, Norwegian culture and traditions.
In any case I will adapt the lessons to your level and make sure you feel comfortable and progress steadily.
Even though it will be best to focus on speaking Norwegian during the lessons, I also speak English, German, French and Russian fluently, so I will be able to give you detailed explanations of more complex nature to you in these languages if needed.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

Jeg har lært med Kristina i mange måneder nå, og jeg kunne ikke være mer fornøyd enn jeg er. Jeg kan anbefale henne for alle som vil lære, eller øve norsk. Hun er veldig tålmodig og vennlig. Hun har også gode ideer før timer som vi kan arbeide med. Kristina har hjulpet meg mye med språket, og jeg planlegger å ha mange timer med henne i fremtiden.🙂

I really like lessons with Kristina, and after a couple of lessons, I feel the progress right now. It is really hard to start learning a new language from scratch, but Kristina makes lessons really useful, entertaining and also provides interesting facts and stories about Norway. Kristina is a really great teacher! She listens, is patient, and has a lot of knowledge. She has a clear idea of what we can do during the lesson, and thinks about what areas I need help with specifically.
It helps also that she speaks a lot of languages, so she can tell me what a Norwegian word means in English and German, making it easier for me to remember.
