My name is Maho. I am a native Japanese speaker from Kyoto, Japan and currently live in Tokyo.
I got a bachelor's degree in foreign languages studies and studied Japanese language education and cross-cultural psychology. I am a professional Japanese teacher online. I am friendly, kind and patient😊

I'm especially good at conversation lesson that you can learn natural Japanese.
I have learned from my own experience studying abroad in the U.S. twice that the best way to improve foreign language is to speak with native speakers.
By enjoying conversation, you will acquire native vocabulary and phrases!

It was my first time speaking with Maho and it was a lot of fun!
She is very nice and easy to talk to.
If you don't know a word or need an explaination on something, she can help you in English if necessary.
She also adapts her speaking speed according to your level so you don't feel lost.
I am looking forward to the next lessons!

Maho is a wonderful teacher! She takes the time to explain the material to your understanding. I appreciate that she takes notes on where you are struggling and provide additional support in those areas. She assigns homework to prepare you for the next class. I also like the pace of her class! I look forward to seeing her at each lesson! :)

Mahoさん is an amazing teacher! This was only my first lesson with her and I can already tell she's the perfect fit for me. She took notes diligently which is incredibly helpful for when I study after our lessons. She carefully explained grammar points I didn't understand and corrected my sentences. She makes you feel comfortable so that you feel motivated to speak. If you are on the fence about booking a lesson, don't hesitate! Mahoさんのクラスを予約して下さい。

As someone who has been a terrible student for most of his life, it's refreshing to have an excellent, engaging teacher that knows how to get the best out of her students. I feel like I'm making great progress and am looking forward to continuing!
