Zohar is a fantastic tutor and a pleasure to learn with. I looked for lessons on iTalki in order to improve my conversational skills and have been able to do that thanks to his help. Our lessons consist of a mix of conversations around a variety of topics, including what we've been up to since the previous lesson, work, travel plans, current events, and more. In addition, he selects media to watch and discuss, which helps in introducing new material while also learning bits about Israeli culture. He's fantastic at engaging in the conversation, like always having follow up questions, so the conversation continues to flow and the lesson time seems to fly by. In addition, he provides constructive feedback on vocabulary and grammar, helping to ensure that I'm continuing to make progress. I would highly recommend Zohar if you want to see your Hebrew reach the next level, while having a fun time doing it.

Excellent teacher

Zohar is a skilled and intuitive language teacher. I started working with him a few months ago and initially, I was only looking for additional conversational practice. Since then, the scope of our lessons has widened because he is so good at what he does. I’ve worked with many tutors over the years, and what makes Zohar different is his ability to help me remember previously learned material, without just handing me the answer. He has helped me finally understand some confusing concepts. Zohar is a warm, intelligent, and friendly guy, who is always 100% present when we’re working together. It feels like I’ve known him for a lot longer than I have.

As usual, fun and helpful. I’m always surprised at how much I can speak. Zohar seems to bring it out in me!
