Hi there, I'm Fenix. :) Being a Korean third-culture individual, I have lived most of my life abroad in countries such as Chile, Guatemala, Colombia, Costa Rica, the USA, the Czech Republic, and Hong Kong SAR, and I have had the opportunity to immerse myself in a variety of cultures and languages. I am happy when I can interact with people of diverse backgrounds and nationalities!عني كمعلّم
I am a Trinity College London certified TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) tutor with a passion for teaching adults. Over the past eight years, I have had the pleasure of helping students improve their general English proficiency and their IELTS test scores in the Czech Republic, and Hong Kong SAR. In Hong Kong, I was a head teacher at an international English language learning academy for teenagers and adults around the world. At this academy, I received the Teacher of the Year award in 2020, 2021, and 2022. Teaching is my true calling, and I am grateful for the opportunity to help my students achieve their language goals.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My classes are student-centered and interactive. :) In student-centered learning, students are encouraged to actively participate and collaborate in their learning instead of just sitting and listening to the teacher talk! It's very different from the traditional, passive way of learning.الشهادات

Head TeacherWall Street English is an international English language learning academy for adolescents and adults worldwide. I taught general English and IELTS Academic preparation courses to students of all levels online as well as face-to-face. Students were from Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, and Venezuela. As a head teacher, some of my responsibilities included observing and assessing teachers’ classes and revising and editing the company's supplementary teaching materials.

Experienced English TeacherEdua Group is the biggest education company in the Czech Republic. After a year of teaching, I was promoted to the position of experienced English teacher, a position that is normally given to teachers with three or more years of experience. I taught general English and some exam preparation courses to adults of all levels. The students were from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Serbia.

Fenix is a very good teacher. She helps me improve my pronunciation and grammar. She is very patient and brings things related with what you want. Her method is good, through conversation we can become more confident and correct any mistakes, and she leaves some homework if you want to train. I recommend her if you want to improve your English.

Fenix is a very good teacher; she is very kind, patient, and makes you feel confident when you are speaking English. I really enjoy the classes with her; it is not boring, and the time goes by very fast in her classes. Her teaching method is very interactive, while you learn something new; she teaches you how to use it in real life. You can feel free to make mistakes when you speak English because she can correct you and make you learn from it with examples. I really recommend her highly. <3
